WFI’s Quality Assurance Program is widely recognized as one of the best in the metals industry. WFI has held ASME Quality Systems Certificates since 1977 as a Material Manufacturer.

WFI has a commitment to growth aimed at meeting our customer’s needs. Continual investments in machine tools and other supporting equipment allow WFI International to stay in step with emerging stringent requirements.

WFI is a totally integrated manufacturing facility. All engineering, design, forging, heat treatment, machining and testing are performed “in house” at our Houston, Texas factory. Additionally WFI performs proof testing using Burst Tests, Fatigue to Failure Testing and Finite Element Analysis. WFI has developed and implemented Stress Intensification Factors for our designs to verify code compliance.

WFI’s 16,000 sq. ft. Forge Facility houses a 3,000 Ton H Frame Hydraulic Press as well as a 300 Ton Vertical Ring Roller to support the growing demand for complex Engineered Products. These two pieces of equipment are supplemented by a Twin Bed Forge Furnace. All are designed with the latest technologies and built to meet the needs of larger capacity equipment material requirements.
